When it comes to Carlsbad, California, there is no better place to spend a weekend away in Southern California. This all-ages-friendly destination packs a seriously fun must-see list, which I have to share all about after our weekend there. This was my first time in Carlsbad in my later adult years after visiting several times growing up.

I have several family ties here and have even spent a weekend camping there in my college years. Carlsbad gets a lot of notoriety during the spring months when the famous Flower Fields of ranunculus are in full bloom. But let me tell you, this is somewhere you could visit all year round.
